AFS U Carve Stabilizer

$26900

Description

U Carve: forgiving, glide, precision, and pure carving feel.

The U Carve range has been designed around a full base concept, with a generous footprint to ensure rigidity and a precise feel.

Its reduced wingspan and refined tips refocus the lift: roll is completely freed up for a more surf-like, playful feel and ultra-natural carving.

Despite this compactness, every detail of the profile has been optimized: thickness, camber, transitions, to minimize drag and maximize glide and efficiency. The result is a responsive, incisive and fluid stabilizer that effortlessly clears the ground while maintaining continuous, progressive support.

You’ll find consistent drive, a real connection with the wave, and above all, perfect control at Vmax, enhanced by the effect of the raised tips acting as winglets, reducing energy loss and unwanted movement at high speeds.

At low speeds, it doesn’t go unnoticed: you maintain lift, support, and a balanced feel, without ever “going through.”

That was the challenge: to achieve a foil that was free in roll, very “surfy,” while remaining efficient and stable in the minis.

Says Laurent Borgna, designer of the U Carve.
