This season we’ve expanded the Contra’s range to bring its legendary efficiency deep into the foil boarding realm.
The single strut version of the Contra is built on its platform of efficiency and range, while adding featherweight control. With its single strut, this kite is lighter and more nimble, allowing the use of much smaller sizes to maximize foilboarding’s true potential.
The Contra 1 strut’s superior drift characteristics allow for low angles of attack while on foil, and the rear line tension increases steering impulse even when depowered.
This dynamic kite design shift will put an optimized Contra light wind kite in your hands whether you ride a twin tip, surfboard, or a foil board.

Staying true to the Ultra name and philosophy, the Ultra Bar delivers a control system that is extremely simple, versatile, and lightweight for the advanced kite riders in mind.
By removing the trim system, the Ultra Bar removes the ability to trim on demand, but it opens the doors to many other features while riding. With the elimination of the bulky straps or cleats, the depower line is completely clean where riders can utilize the full extension of their arm for the maximum amount of range they wish.
Found on the Brain 3.0 quick release for the Ultra Bar, the 24cm micro chicken loop brings the entire bar closer to the riders’ body, making it perfect for surf and foil rider performance, who need the majority of the depower line available on the Ultra Bar.
